About this project
I enjoyed working on this "boxing sparring live event" project. The challenges that I faced were related to the availability times of everyone, so I had to make sure to gather as many people and set up a specific time for us to record the sparring sessions. Now of course, things didn't work as planned so I had to record some footages separately since some people were able to arrive on one day, but others couldn't. Another thing was that if I wanted to capture different shots more closer to the person sparring, I would have to move around several times because boxing is usually fast paced and requires lots of movements to be performed. There was also bunch of noises in the background, especially during the interview which I couldn't really avoid so I decided to keep it as ambience sounds. On top of that, I recorded hours of footage, therefore, it was quite challenging to condense the video and deciding which one should be used and which ones aren't as important.
I believe the results were decent, the video somewhat captured the intensity and created curiosity by separating the days with couple types of spars and focusing on two specific people/characters, as if it there is a storyline going on. I still got some parts that can be fixed like maybe the audio or some clips being too long when not needed but overall, I think I did alright. The music added more hype with ambience sounds to sort of calm things down (apart from the audience commentary), transitions were also nice and smooth. The project equally focused on several camera shots to capture each angle of the spars with different lightings.

About this project
I found it interesting working on this interview project. The challenges that I faced were related to time management since there were a lot of school work to complete and other things apart from school that made it tough to do things in time. So I had to sure to not get very behind in my work schedule which was not easy at all because I did eventually end up behind. Thankfully, I was able to record the interview beforehand as my friend was not too busy during the same week, otherwise it would have been even more difficult and on the bright side, I learned new features/effects using premiere pro and after effects. However, another common problem like last time, I recorded hours of footage, therefore, it was quite challenging to condense the video and deciding which one should be used and which ones aren't as important.
I believe the results were okay, the video had a decent setup with multiple camera angles accordingly, the lighting and sounds (whether it's the music playing in the background or any camera noises) were not bad either. It also had good questions based on the topic of social media, a combination of serious and funny answers or little moments which would change the mood of the viewer from time to time to keep a balance. Transitions were less used this time, but I think it was not needed as much anyways since there was so many parts to be cut and if anything, it made it feel more natural. But when they were to be used, it did add some dynamic to the video.
